Professor Kerryn Butler-Henderson is Director of Digital Health in the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences at RMIT University. Kerryn Butler-Henderson is a well know and respected digital health academic, with more than twenty years’ experience working in health and higher education. She is known for her passion and dedication to the promotion and advocacy of the specialist digital health workforce and as a leader in the development of health informatics and health information management capabilities. Kerryn has lead health informatics and information management programs at Curtin University and the University of Tasmania, and provided expertise in the integration of digital health curriculum across tertiary health programs. She is a Fellow and inaugural Director of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, Deputy Chair of the Certified Health Informatics Australasia (CHIA) Examination Committee, and Deputy Editor on the BMJ Health and Care Informatics journal. Her research specialisations include workforce analysis, including Chair of the global census of the digital health workforce, and primary health care informatics.
