As part of RMIT's Master of Design Innovation and Technology, students will examine sustainable food cultures in both Melbourne and Barcelona through the upcoming study tour "Food for Thought"
The first half of the four-week study tour will see students travel to Barcelona where they will examine food culture and dining experiences, food production and use of food wastage. The entire food system chain will be covered with a focus on the cultural experience of eating and the concept of tapas. The final two weeks of the study tour will be in Melbourne, where students will continue to work on these concepts.
The study tour will conclude with a carbon neutral dinner party and exhibition.
